Public Story Submission Indemnity Terms
Pision News records the applicable version and document hash when these terms are accepted.
Your submission and responsibility
You are submitting a story, document, photograph, recording, link, or other material for editorial consideration. You represent that the information is truthful to the best of your knowledge, that you are authorized to provide it, and that you accept responsibility for the content and consequences of your submission.
Rights, privacy, and lawful material
You represent that you own the submitted material or have permission to share it. You must not submit unlawful, defamatory, threatening, deceptive, infringing, confidential, privileged, private, or illegally obtained material. Do not endanger a source or another person.
Editorial use and no promise of publication
You grant Pision News a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to review, verify, edit, reproduce, archive, and, if accepted, publish or distribute the material. Submission does not create a confidential, employment, agency, or payment relationship and does not guarantee contact, investigation, publication, removal, or compensation.
Indemnity and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pision News, the Pinnie App, and their owners, personnel, service providers, and distribution partners from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your submission, your breach of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Safety and emergencies
This form is not an emergency service. Contact emergency services or the appropriate authorities when a person faces immediate danger. Pision News may preserve or disclose submissions when reasonably necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or defense of legal rights.
